Today me and a fellow student decided to go on an adventure and explore the town, in hope to gain some inspiration for "a sense of place". We ventured out with our cameras at the ready, hoping to capture the character of Huddersfield town through our photographs. The previous week during the Physical studio i found some really interesting typography whilst out drawing in the town. I really enjoyed interpreting that typography in my own way. Therefore i decided to focus on photographing the typography around the town because i want it to be a main theme running throughout my sense of place project. I found some really interesting typography, that i feel reflects the character of the town quite strongly. Some of my favourite images come from our trip to the market.
